If you want to truly understand the heritage of Farmasi, you must see it as 2 separate entities. The first one is a state-of-the-art manufacturing company. Farmasi has one of the largest integrated cosmetics manufacturing plants in the world which is located in Istanbul, Turkey in an ecological environment. Integrated manufacturing means that we not only produce the bulk product, but also produce most of our own packaging in-house, and their water comes from the wells located within there properties. They have launched more than 2.000 products and shipped our products to over 125 countries all around the world.

At the other side of the story, there is a record-breaking direct selling company. Founded in 2010 in their home country, Turkey. By achieving triple-digit growth for the last 7 years, now operating in 25 markets in the form of direct selling. One of the biggest reasons they are have amazing growth is they have one of the best compensation plans, a wide product portfolio, and amazing quality for the price.
What are European Standards
Farmasi knows the importance of creating high-quality cosmetics for all the countries they do business in.
Farmasi cosmetics and skincare products follow European Standards for what ingredients are allowed to be used. If you haven’t heard, Europe bans close to 1400 harmful chemicals from their makeup and personal care products.

Canada Standards and Process
Regulatory Board: Health Canada
# of Ingredients Banned: 500+
Registration Process: Manufacturers in Canada must register their products before they are allowed to market. This ensures that manufacturers review the list of 500-600 banned or restricted cosmetic ingredients.
Rules on Restricted Ingredients: If restricted ingredients are used in a product, companies must submit the levels at which this ingredient is used. This government registration is mandatory.
US Standards and Process
Regulatory Board: FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
# of Ingredients Banned: 30
Registration Process: Registering a cosmetic product is completely voluntary.
Rules on Restricted Ingredients: The list of ingredients that are banned in the U.S is a whopping 30 ingredients long, and the only requirement around these restricted ingredients is that you simply can’t use them.

Although Canada is slightly more advanced than the US, it is still behind the EU in terms of the approach to evaluating ingredients used in cosmetics. FARMASi believes in delivering products that use high-quality ingredients, which are developed using standards with the highest integrity. This is our promise to consumers, and we believe the EU standards help us deliver on that promise.
FARMASi would never use any ingredients in our products that could cause any health risks, which is why when I first founded Farmasi Canada, I chose to only follow the EU standards and regulations too.
